During a phone session with Joann, her mother & grandmother came to me. Joann had just lost her mother who was like her best friend, they did everything together. Her mother wanted to reassure Joann she was whole again (something I know happens & get often) she played the movie on some of the highlights on their life together. Grandma was also with us giving Joann comfort and letting us know she and Joann’s mom are together.  I was at the point in the session where they were opening up the window on Joann’s life. Grandma was showing me Joann was experiencing a great deal of sadness and sorrow, more than normal. Mom told me since her passing Joann has been feeling extremely lonely.

I was addressing this with Joann when suddenly we began to hear singing on the phone. It was a woman’s voice, I paused for a moment to listen to see if I could find where the signing was coming from. I pulled my ear away from the phone to listen to make sure it wasn’t coming from outside, a TV or radio, no it was absolutely not coming from outside. Just to confirm it was as on the phone and was definitely not a source from outside the phone I asked Joann if she was playing music, she confirmed she was not. At this point, there was doubt the singing was on the phone.

I always check all possibilities of what it is I am experiencing, I question, is it from the other side and not something going on here I may have missed. I want to be absolutely positive and convince myself in incidences such as this one, leaving no doubt about what is happening.

Once I was sure it was on the phone I asked Joann if she heard the signing as well. She confirmed she was hearing it, but it didn’t sound, as clear to her as it did to me. The singing was very soft and sounded a bit different, but clearly, it was a woman’s voice. It didn’t sound like someone here was singing.

Once I was sure it was one of the souls for Joann I informed her of that. This was all happening so fast I was trying to sort things out. It was at this point where Joann told me her mom would always sing to her when she was feeling sad and lonely.

You may be asking why I didn’t see here singing in the movie? It was because as the singing began the movie stopped playing. Why I have no idea sometimes things just happen the way they are meant to there isn’t always an explanation.

Joann needed something to bring her comfort, mom knew just what Joann needed to lift her spirits at that moment, the souls always do.
