Stress
Many allow others to control our emotional well-being.
I have a client who is very sick, and the doctors can not find out what is wrong. As I was doing his session, it came through that he was extremely stressed at work. I was surprised. He didn’t seem to be the type of person who would allow that to happen. I explained how he had to control that and he could and should get a handle on his allowing others to push his buttons.
It’s important to mentally control all aspects of our life, I am not saying it is easy, no, it isn’t but it’s important.
You can do it be strong and stand against any toxic individual. If you can’t avoid them, put them in a box in your head. If someone feels the need to control you, say a boss, look at them as a poor boss who has his/her own issues, who is projecting that onto you. The same thing with family members, keep your distance, put up a wall if you must to protect yourself. It’s important for your well-being; you can do it, you have to do it. If it’s a job, remember there are more jobs out there, and it may be a time to move on.
be optimistic, never pessimistic.
