I received a text from a friend, Paulette, who wanted to know if I had any time; her dad Joe, is in a very bad way. The family had recently lost Joe’s wife, Paulette’s mom.

I was at both the wake and the funeral for Geri; she came through in a very strong way. As a matter of fact, I wasn’t going to go to lunch afterwards, but Joe insisted, and Geri was pushing me to go, so I went. If you are wondering if the myth about waiting a year after someone has passed before they come through is true, that isn’t the case, at least not in my experience. I have had souls come through the same day.

When I arrived at Joe’s home, Joe answered the door before I knocked. When I stepped inside, I knew Geri was there to greet me as well. We all sat in the kitchen, and Geri started talking right away. Joe’s dad came through, and a tall man we couldn’t identify as well as others. The messages flowed; they came fast. One strong message was that they had to clean the kitchen; now we are sitting in the kitchen. I looked around, and that made no sense at all. The kitchen was cleaned. The only sense it made was that she would tell everyone to clean off the top of the island when they were finished, but that didn’t apply now.
As we were finishing, Joe told me Geri came to him in a dream, which was a visit; there was no doubt about that. She told him she was fine and was with Sean. He couldn’t figure out who Sean was, nor could Paulette. Joe told me they lost a child before birth, but they didn’t know what sex it was. Once Joe said that I saw the tall person again. It turned out to be the child she had lost. I thought it was a boy at first, but then realized she was a tomboy, and the soul was a girl. This is the first time this has happened. What Geri had told me; she carried it with her her whole life. It wasn’t a major thing, but it was there. She was happy to see she was alright and being cared for by relatives until she got there.
When we were finished, Geri showed me clouds parting and a warm light coming through, which would be her way to let Joe know for sure she was there for him.
Maybe an hour later, I received a call from Joe. He told me he was in his office when he suddenly felt hungry and went down to the kitchen to eat something. When he walked into the kitchen, the clouds opened up and a stream of light hit him in the face for a few moments, then the clouds closed up. Before they did, Joe got a photo of the light on the kitchen table. I was thrilled for Joe, Geri kept her word,

Paulette and I left at the same time. She said to me she was surprised her mom didn’t give her messages. I figured she just wanted to concentrate or Joe. As I was driving, Geri came to me again, yeah, they do that sometimes and told me that cleaning the kitchen was for her, not her dad. We missed that. Paulette said What is she talking about? She has nothing to do with Dad’s kitchen. It took a minute when she realized she was baking Christmas cookies, and that made sense.
Always remain hopeful, never hopeless. Always be optimistic, never pessimistic.
