Recently while doing sessions at a psychic fair I had two women come to me who lost children. When children come through as you would expect it is very painful for me. In fact, quite a bit of what I do is painful, not just kids.
At the fair, I finished my last session with Sue, the second woman who lost her son. Upon completion Sue and I were talking, Sue told me her friend Lauren lost her daughter and was upstairs with another medium. As she was telling me this I got a cold feeling with deep pain in my chest. At the same time, I heard a female voice tell me her mom didn’t get what she needed. Experiencing this I told Sue if Lauren didn’t get what she needed, I would meet with her for a few minutes at no cost. I did not explain to Sue why I made this offer.
The reason I did that, I felt Lauren’s pain, I knew she wasn’t getting what she needed and she would not take a chance on what could possibly be another fake session. I also knew Laurens daughter wanted to give her messages and Lauren needed to hear from her daughter.
About 15 minutes later Sue came down with Lauren to ask if my offer still stood, I was not surprised. When we sat down, I had other souls for Lauren, I believe one was her grandmother, I forget. I talk to the other souls first when I know who my client is looking for. I believe it helps clients such as Lauren to believe this is real. Lauren’s daughter came through for her and gave her messages she needed to hear. Her daughter was sick most of her life and how she is and with whom she is with now. The messages although I do not remember (as usual) were strong and helped Lauren giving her the messages she needed to hear.
The point to all this not the messages Lauren received from me put what happened to Lauren. I asked Lauren what happened with the other medium. She told me the woman never got her daughter until she asked for her. Ok honestly that happens from time to time with all of us, I will cover the reasons another time. When I explained this to Lauren, she told me nothing she got was good the messages were all off. When she asked for her daughter and supposedly her daughter came through, she said nothing was correct. She also told her things I like to call Funeral Home info. Things like she is in a better place, she is happy now etc. For the record, I tell people they are in a better place by telling them how the soul suffered while here who she is with and their life with the other soul while here, that type of thing I never say they Are in a better place, happy or love them straight out like that, they hear it in a different way.
What upsets me is Lauren was extremely hurt thinking her daughter wouldn’t come through or perhaps she was in a bad place & the woman didn’t want to tell her. When people who do this really don’t have the gift which is sadly more often than not, they should walk away because they can do more damage than good. They rely upon the client to feed them information they can feedback to them. People can be gullible and because there is no science behind this some will believe anything. Always apply logic to this as logic applies to the other side. There is no Hocus Pocus, they are energy who are around us & will show us that energy to let us know but stay logical, with perhaps a little skepticism, not too much that is just as bad as not being logical.
My message to anyone who thinks this cool or great, as I said in the beginning, I’m here to tell you it isn’t. Please don’t misunderstand, it is rewarding when you help people get to the other side of their pain. However, the pain we experience is great. If God hasn’t granted you these gifts please do not do this, just because you knew Joanne was going to call & she did is not an indication you have the gifts. IF you think you can take a class and learn this no this isn’t the ABC’S either you have the ability to hear & talk to the other side or you don’t. You will hurt people so much by faking this so please stop, set your ego aside and find something else to do.
When I hear everyone can do this, I know that isn’t true you must have the strength to deal with the pain. Having said that, I do believe some of us have the ability for the souls around them to get through for themselves. Listen to those thoughts they will help you, but don’t think you can go out & practice this on others, please you will only end up hurting others.
This isn’t about me or my ego, I don’t think I am great or better than others who truly have the gift that is not what I am saying. I am saying to those who think they have the gift and don’t set your ego aside, think of others for a change and move on. If the time comes and God feels I no longer should do this I will walk away and not continue by faking it.
