All too often, we get sidetracked by negative people, we let them get into our heads. This goes for everything we do, whether it’s a personal or professional relationship. I speak about both in this video, but the best example is when I started my journey as a professional photographer. I am self-taught, I had no knowledge of how this worked or what I would go through as I pitched clients, but I learned quickly.
The most important thing I learned, which helped me get through everything in life, is by learning the difference between Constructive Criticism and Destructive Criticism. With social media having a big impact on our lives learning to navigate through the people who come on and attempt to control us with destructive things to say. You must learn to identify them and ignore them, these are people who have nothing to add to your life but attempt to elevate themselves above you. They add nothing to the conversations, on sites such as Facebook, Tictok, Nextdoor, or any other sites you are on. They are people who have low self-esteem or no confidence. They are angry and look to start something with you DO NOT give them the power.
It’s their issue that causes them to do this, don’t make it your issue learn to scroll past it and ignore it don’t give it any power. You will be much better off once you have learned the trick to doing that.
Live your life for you as you see fit it’s the only way to live.
